We are having a very low key Thanksgiving dinner with just our immediate family. We'll have turkey and all the trimmings, and the kids will help make most of it. They helped choose the menu and shop at the grocery store too.We invited some friends from New Orleans to come if they like, but I think they just want to be home more than anything, so they are going to try to make dinner at home even though they have no gas, and therefore no oven. I can certainly understand the feeling of wanting to be home for Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving to you an your wonderful family...we had a quiet day with son and daughter in law..next year we will have a new baby in the family and I will be grandmother for the first time...a sweet baby girl so we are told can't wait!! Hope all is well..Jimmie
